Please praise the Lord with us for the project completion at the Young Life Camp in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. We are still praying for the Engineer to make some programming changes to the Automatic Transfer Switch which is the brains of the system we installed there. We are praying for the many young people that will hear of God’s love at this camp and for the staff as they teach about Jesus. Pray for us now as we pick up again at SLM and help finish Phase one of the office renovation. There are a lot of details in finishing a project this size and we can only accomplish it through God’s grace and power and with His wisdom. Pray for Joe from PA as he installs the duct work, and Freon lines for the HVAC systems. This needs to be done in order to proceed with the rest of the finish work, especially the ceilings. Pray that many more will learn so much more about the Lord through the literature prepared and sent out from this ministry. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10 NASB). |

Many people have asked how they can best pray for us, or other questions about our support, such as what percentage of our budget have we raised? We have struggled with the questions concerning support since before we went full time in 1996. We had originally started with a proposed budget of $2000.00 per month back then, and that was with our housing and medical insurance paid by the ministry (not the case since 2000). Praise the Lord we finally received our 1996 budget amount in 2008, and all of our bills are paid. The best advice we can give concerning our budget or our support level is to pray to the Lord for His guidance, because that is what we do. He has blessed us with good health instead of supplying the funds for insurance. He also provided a free clinic when we needed several things done. He has also provided several cars over the years as we had need. In fact He has supplied all of our needs even though they fluctuate drastically from one month to the next depending on travel and living situations at the different project sites.
So we would ask you to pray with us, that our daily needs are met. Pray about finally getting some testing done that we have had to avoid for several years. If the Lord should lay it on your heart to send a donation to La Mission for our support, we know you will be blessed as we are. We continue to be humbled by those who are led to join us financially in His ministry. We are reminded of what the Lord is teaching us, that it is all about relationships.
